Yummy NZ Rose apples add the perfect natural sweetness to this classic nutritious brekkie.
Ingredients
1 Yummy NZ Rose apple (grated with skin on)
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup milk (any type – we used almond milk for a nuttier flavour!)
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1/2 cup Greek yoghurt
Small handful chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, Brazil nuts etc)
Honey to taste
Sprinkling of dried cranberries
Directions
Mix grated apple, oats, milk and chia seeds in a bowl, cover and leave in the fridge for several hours (or overnight).
When ready to eat, add the rest of the ingredients, and dust with cinnamon and extra chopped apple to serve.
A simply delicious and nutritious breakfast or snack!
